We quote what is real
Lead time is confirmed per line before you release the order. If an item is on allocation we say so and propose an alternative, rather than accepting the order and explaining later.
K&N Automation is a Siemens Authorized System House. We sell the complete range of Siemens industrial hardware, manufacture the industrial control panels it goes into, write the application software that runs on it, and commission the result on site.
There are two ways to run an automation business. You can carry every brand and know a little about each, or you can commit to one and know it properly. We chose the second, and it has shaped every decision since.
That commitment is what allows a K&N engineer to look at a machine and know not just which controller will work, but which one will still be supported in eight years, how it behaves when the network degrades, and what happens to the drive parameters when someone replaces a motor with a slightly different frame. That kind of knowledge only comes from depth, and depth is expensive to spread across a dozen manufacturers.
Depth is not the same as a restriction on what we will supply. Siemens is where our authorisation and our engineering sit, and it is what we recommend when the choice is open. Where a job or your own plant standard calls for another make — a drive, a switch, a sensor, an instrument, a panel component — we supply that too, and say plainly when it is a part we source rather than one we engineer around every day.
Our work divides into four things we deliberately keep under one roof: supplying the product, building the control panels ourselves, developing the PLC and HMI application software, and commissioning the system on site. When all four sit with one team there is nobody left to point at when something does not work — which concentrates the mind considerably.
Authorized for sales, system design, software development and commissioning of Siemens automation and drive products.
Since 2003 our engineers have commissioned industrial systems across nineteen countries. Export commissioning is unforgiving in a specific way: you arrive with what you brought, the drawings have to be right, and the code has to work — because there is no driving back to the workshop for a part you forgot.
That discipline became our standard rather than our exception. Panels are tested before dispatch because a fault found abroad costs a fortnight. Drawings are as-built because the maintenance team will read them in a language we do not speak. Software is commented and structured because somebody else will maintain it. Domestic customers get the same treatment, for the simple reason that we no longer know how to work any other way.
Every automation company claims quality and service. These are the specific, checkable things we do differently — and you are welcome to hold us to them.
Lead time is confirmed per line before you release the order. If an item is on allocation we say so and propose an alternative, rather than accepting the order and explaining later.
The complete TIA Portal project is handed over, commented and unlocked. No protected blocks, no licence tied to us, no phone call required to change a setpoint six months from now.
Insulation, continuity, earth bonding, power-up, I/O verification and safety function proving happen in our works. You are welcome to witness the factory acceptance test.
If you are running a platform that is end-of-life we tell you while you still have options — not when a failed CPU has already stopped the line and no replacement exists.
A technical question reaches somebody who has commissioned the equipment, not a sales desk that will forward it and come back tomorrow.
Siemens components come through our authorized supply channel. In a market where counterfeit industrial components are a real problem, provenance is not a small thing.
Our Pune office covers Maharashtra and the western industrial belt; our Chennai office covers Tamil Nadu and the south. Both are staffed by engineers, not only sales.
Tell us what you are building, retrofitting or trying to keep running. If we are the right people for it we will say so — and if we are not, we will say that too.
We are authorized for Siemens and that is where our engineering depth sits. We also supply industrial components from other manufacturers — drives, switchgear, sensors, motors, instrumentation and panel components — whatever the job or your own plant standard calls for. Send the make, model or rating and we will quote it.

Parts, panels and where to find things
Hello. I can help you find Siemens parts, ask about components from other makes, explain what we manufacture, or point you to the right page.
Answers come from our catalogue and can be wrong — article numbers and lead times are confirmed on quotation.
